The annual East Yorkshire beef dinner, held this year at the Railway Inn near Hull, generated £1,000.
The event was held as part of Great British Beef Week, which promotes the health benefits of beef and its importance in the British livestock industry. Around 87 guests sat down to enjoy a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings.
Funds were raised via ticket sales, a raffle, and a game of heads & tails to win a joint of beef.
William Lamb, a former committee member, donated an additional £1,000 on behalf of the Provisional Grand Mark Lodge of Freemasons. The Grand Lodge donated the funds to further the work of R.A.B.I in north and east Yorkshire.
