RABI’s External Affairs team works to improve health and wellbeing for farming people by helping close the farming wellbeing gap.
The team builds relationships, shares insight and works with parliamentarians, policymakers, partners and farming communities across England and Wales. Its aim is to improve access to health and wellbeing support, strengthen community resilience, and ensure more farming people can benefit from RABI’s services.
This work includes contributing evidence to Government inquiries, hosting Parliamentary events and roundtables, and meeting with decision-makers to raise awareness of the challenges facing farming people.
The team is led by Sandy Kapila, Head of External Affairs, supported by Rhian Nowell-Phillips, Thea Wright and Kate Williams.
