Farmers Guardian has partnered with RABI to showcase the people and stories at the heart of UK agriculture in a 2026 calendar featuring your photos.
We’re after your best shots of farming folk through the agricultural year for our charity calendar photo competition, run in partnership with Farmers Guardian.
The theme of the calendar is ‘Our Farming Life’. You’re invited to submit any number of photographs taken within the past 18 months that capture the dedication, resilience and everyday moments of farming people, whether in the tractor cab, the calving pen or at a county show.
Up to 12 winning images will feature in a 2026 calendar that will be sold through RABI’s online shop as well as at agricultural events, with all proceeds going to the charity. The money raised will help RABI continue its vital work of providing practical, financial and emotional support to those in need in the rural community.
Spanning all sectors from horticulture to broadacre crops and livestock, your images will highlight the breadth and complexity of farming, and its deep-rooted connection to rural life. From the highs and lows of lambing, to the intensity of harvest, to the quiet joys of the countryside, the calendar will capture the many faces of farming, its challenges, achievements, and everyday realities.
Winners will receive
- All 12 selected winners will receive a complimentary set of calendars
- The cover winner will receive two tickets to the British Farming Awards in October (worth over £180 + VAT each)
- All winners and a guest will be invited to RABI’s Spring 2026 Parliamentary Reception (date TBC) at the Houses of Parliament, where the winning images will be displayed
- Winning photographers and their stories may be featured in Farmers Guardian, RABI channels and social media as part of ongoing celebration and promotion
