Once you’ve made contact, it’s likely that we’ll arrange for one of our regional welfare officers to visit you. They understand farming, its complexities and its challenges. And they’ll sit down with you to discuss what you need and prepare a way forward.
The application process is relatively straightforward. Confidentiality and trust is very important to us and we never disclose information to anyone else without your permission.
Our grants committee meets every 6 – 8 weeks to look at applications for help but, in emergencies, the process can be fast-tracked and payments made more quickly.
