About the role
Information Volunteers help keep RABI visible in local communities by placing helpline cards, posters, and leaflets in key locations. This flexible, independent role is perfect for volunteers who enjoy exploring their local area and making meaningful connections.
You’ll help ensure that support information is always close at hand, even for those who may not actively seek it out. This role can be carried out in your own time and fitted around your existing commitments.

What you’ll be doing
As an Information volunteer, you’ll:
- Place and refresh RABI materials in farming business locations such as agricultural markets and retailers
- Place materials in community locations where farming people may gather or visit, such as doctor’s surgeries, post offices and shops
- Build friendly relationships with venue owners and staff
- Identify new locations where farming people meet or pass through
- Share insights and opportunities with the RABI team
- Help ensure RABI’s presence remains consistent and welcoming

- Friendly and confident communicating with others
- Happy to work independently and manage their own time
- Interested in supporting farming communities
- Reliable, observant, and proactive in identifying new opportunities
- Comfortable visiting local businesses and community venues
