On Thursday 20 March, Ludlow Racecourse held a Charity Race Day in support of RABI, welcoming over 310 guests.

The event began with a drinks reception sponsored by Tanners Wine, followed by a three-course meal catered by Plyvine. Attendees were also able take part in an auction led by George Stanners, featuring a wide variety of exclusive lots, such as a five-night stay in St. Moritz and a medieval dinner in Wigmore Abbey.

The day concluded with an amateur jockey race, with all participants raising funds for RABI. Zara Sands, riding Carter, claimed first place, followed by Jess Smith on Now Then Wendy in second and Olivia Hale on Electric Annie in third.

So far, the event has generated an outstanding £50,000. RABI is deeply grateful to all those who contributed to its success, from those who attended and donated auction lots to the volunteers who helped ensure everything ran smoothly.

Special thanks also go to our sponsors and staff at Ludlow Racecourse for their invaluable support.

The generous funds raised will have a meaningful impact, making a real difference to the lives of farmers and their families across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
